DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge – Flooded

The Missouri River floodwaters have broken through levees South of the Blair Bridge, and have flooded DeSoto Bend. The area East of Blair is well known for it’s annual migration of snow geese and the bald eagles that follow, the Bertrand Steamboat Exhibit, fishing and wildlife areas. It’s uncertain how the area will be affected after the water recedes. The images below were captured in 2003.

Britt and Justin’s wedding was held Saturday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Lincoln. Had a great time taking pics of the wedding party in the decked-out party bus provided by Luxury Limousine. The reception was held at the Rococo Theatre (formerly the historic Stuart Theatre). Unique decorations included wine bottles with customized labels for Britt and Justin.

Christy and Josh were married at the Living Hope Community Church in Council Bluffs, with the following Reception at the Tryenor Iowa Community Center.

It was definitely a family affair, with their many family and friends showing their genuine love and affection for the couple.

Amy and Andy were married at Boys Town at the picturesque Chamber’s Chapel. The rain held-off, so we were able to do outdoor portraits in the nearby Garden of the Bible. The joyous Reception was held at the Millard Social Hall, ending in a celebration with sparklers.
